This was an interactive video work using cell phone media as content. The grid of images in the sample photos displays individual cell phone images that were taken by the audience during the opening and the length of the exhibition. As more images were taken the the images would swap for the newly taken images and create a continually changing video fabric created by cell phone images that were SMS text message sent to a specific phone number.

This piece was shown in 2007 at “Cell Phone: Art and the Mobile Phone” at the Contemporary Art Museum in Baltimore, MD.

It was created in MAX/MSP/Jitter and Python by Joe Reinsel and James Rouvelle as part of the URBANtells collective.
